A large walk-in wardrobe in Nyari built around a fully mirrored interior. All cabinet doors are white with full-height mirrored panels and gold hardware; open glass shelving on one wall displays handbags and shoes. A central island with a mirrored top and white drawer units sits under a sculptural gold chandelier. The floor is white marble. The room connects to the master bedroom through a corridor where handbags are displayed on crystal hooks against a textured grey wall, and the bedroom itself has a canopied four-poster bed.
The Brief
Design a walk-in wardrobe for a Nyari master suite that functions as both a storage room and a display space — a room that showcases the owner's collection as much as it stores it.
Our Approach
Full-height mirrored cabinet doors were used throughout to maximise the sense of space and to turn every surface into a reflective display. Open glass shelving was introduced on the display wall to give shoes and handbags the same retail-style presentation as the mirrored cabinets. The central island provides a working surface and additional drawer storage, with a mirrored top that ties it to the surrounding cabinet doors. The sculptural gold chandelier and white marble floor set the register for the room — not purely functional storage, but a dressed space in its own right.
