A coastal apartment in Nyali furnished around a three-colour palette of white, black and brown, with mid-century silhouettes throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and sheer drapery keep the tropical landscape in view from every room, while the restrained material choices let the quality of coastal light do most of the work.

The Brief

Design a cohesive interior for a coastal residence in Nyali that feels calm and uncluttered, with a strong connection to the outdoor environment and a clear sense of material identity.

Our Approach

A strict three-colour palette of white, black and brown was applied across furniture, joinery and soft furnishings. Mid-century forms — low seating, tapered legs, organic shapes — were chosen for their compatibility with the open-plan proportions. Sheer drapery at the full-height windows softens the light without blocking the tropical view, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor character of the coastal setting.
